the writing was beautiful and immersive!! i enjoyed feeling like i was being driven along by Tadeusz, hearing all of his musings. the historical accuracy with the story and unedited bg photos was excellent.
the atmosphere was too good and the aesthetics very cohesive... i love the art. i think the simplicity of the black and white sprites contrasted with the detail of the line art really worked! i loved Tadeusz’s subtle changes in expression, especially his brows.
keeping it vague, but!!! the reveal!! along with the accompanying audio cue!! so so good. the sound design in general was wonderful, whether it was unsettling, ambient, or nostalgic. all of the components of this VN worked together remarkably well. you have a very talented team!!
oh but how my heart aches!! i was just waiting for everything to fall apart the whole time, and i adore stories like that. the last taxi ride actually made me physically anxious(positive). absolutely heartbreaking. extremely well done!!!

this was set almost a century ago but it's still very relevant today the heartbreak, the absolutely disgusting casual racism, yet still...that belief in others that they are good people
overall, i think this is a lovely piece of fiction that clearly shows how our non-fictional world can be very cruel
